How about we try something new with a southern style cook out! I volunteer to bring are famous ribs and home made bbq sause. You can bring what ever you want but I have some examples if you need help. Ex: mashed potatoes/gravy/biscuits/corn bread/chicken with cajun spice/something that could be a muilty person project would be a spicy rice with meats:chicken/pork/sausages and or shrimp to make a jumbalya.didn't spell that close enough for spell check to pick up haha. Desert could be pecan pie or apple or as I said before anything you want. that last face had to much spicy food haha

Regarding jambalaya, IMO the two things that really make it go are the sausage that gets used and shrimp.  Not everyone likes shrimp though (I don't understand that either), and it really doesn't re-heat well at all, so my suggestion is to bring out the jambalaya ready to rock, but without the shrimp.  Takes just a couple of minutes to saute a bunch of shrimp in some garlic and then it could be set aside for those who want it to toss into their helping of spicy rice.

Gladys and I will bring sweet potatoes and/or Yams. Split in half. With butter and some brown sugar.
...this just in. Gladys just reminded me about the need for melted marshmallow. So we got that going too.

Everything seems to be coming along on the potluck bit!! Tonight we are having Fish Taco's courtesy of the hubby  since I am working during the day.

Course is coming along just fine except for the Rhino breaking a rear shock this morning!! We have a shock coming from SD, but if you plan on bringing any side by sides to help out let us know!! Oh and if you are bringing your quad/bike please let me know also if you would like to work on the course as Rovers and Sweeps.
